2011 Bird and Fish Deaths

In Beebe Arkansas the night of new years eve black birds mysteriously start falling from the sky. Government officials wearing HazMat suits go around picking up the dead bodies the next day claiming that an estimated 5,000 dead birds were collected. The birds suffered from what resembled blunt force trauma and internal bleeding and covered up to a 2 mile radius.

Cause is unknown.

Several hundred birds including grackles, red wing blackbirds, robins, and starlings fell from the sky in Kentucky.

Approximately 200 American Coots (type of black bird) are found dead on a bridge near Tyler Texas. The low number and the limited area of the bodies seems to point that these birds were in fact hit by cars.

Unlike the bird die-offs of the US these birds had blue stains on the beak of the animals. They believe that the blue stains indicate poisoning or hypoxia (or a lack of oxygen).

Estimated that between 25,000 and 40,000 dead velvet crabs have washed up on the Thanet Coast of England. This is not the first year it has happened. It is stated that this is the 3rd year in a row this has happened and it is usually after the beach is covered in snow. Many star fish were also washed up dead with the crabs.
