Zionism

Zionism is a false belief and creed held by both Jews and Christians - that the Jews must reclaim all of Israel before the coming of Messiah (or the Second Coming of Jesus Christ for the Christians). This has lead to the Christian support of sending foreign aid to Israel, and Christians donating money to have the Temple rebuilt even though the Levitical blood line of the Jews was lost (the tribe of Levi were the only ones allowed by God to preform animal sacrifices for sin atonement).<br/> <br/> First it is important to note that God does not need help in brining his prophecies to fruition. Look at Abraham and Sarah as an example: Sarah doubted the word of God saying that she would conceive and bare a son - so she decided she would help God fulfill his prophecy by convincing Abraham to have a child with her handmaid Hagar. This child Ishmael was a child of the flesh, and his descendants went on and founded the false religion of Islam.<br/> <br/> The Song of Solomon which is clearly a parable of Jesus and the church states two times (8:4 & 3:5) "I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, until he please."- meaning we should not be doing things deliberately cause the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.<br/> <br/> In Isaiah 11:6-9 it states that after the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ the animals will not be at enmity with humans and one another any more. At this time will be the beginning of the millennial reign of the Lord Jesus which scripture then says in verse 11 "And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Asyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Crush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea". If the Bible states that the Israelites will not be gathered until after the Second Coming anything that happens before then will be like the union of Abraham and Hagar - works of the flesh.
