Batu Kahn Launches Invasion Of Russia
In a war that lasted three years Batu rolled over the lands presently known as Russia. In the process he destroyed most major cities except for Novgorod and Pskov in which he used to collect tribute money from. After the conquest Batu names his holdings the Empire of the Golden Horde.
